Switch to openstackdocstheme 2.2.1 and reno 3.1.0 versions. Using these versions will allow especially: * Linking from HTML to PDF document * Allow parallel building of documents * Fix some rendering problems Update Sphinx version as well. Change pygments_style to 'native' since old theme version always used 'native' and the theme now respects the setting and using 'sphinx' can lead to some strange rendering. openstackdocstheme renames some variables, so follow the renames before the next release removes them. A couple of variables are also not needed anymore, remove them. Monasca Persister
The Monasca Persister consumes metrics and alarm state transitions from the Apache Kafka message queue and stores them in the time series database.
Running
To install the Python monasca-persister modules, git clone the source and run the following command:
$ pip install -c https://releases.openstack.org/constraints/upper/master -e ./monasca-persisterTo run the unit tests use:
$ tox -e py36To start the persister run:
$ monasca-persister --config-file=monasca-persister.confConfiguration
A sample configuration file can be generated using the Oslo standards used in other OpenStack projects.
tox -e genconfigThe result will be in ./etc/monasca/monasca-persister.conf.sample
If the deployment is using the Docker files, the configuration template can be found in docker/monasca-persister.conf.j2.
