Michael Krotscheck 5481b2f162 Added worker resource resolution helper.

A helper has been added that takes a resource 'name' and ID, and
returns a resolved instance, if available. Otherwise, returns None.

Also, a couple of imports have been rearranged to match our import
requirements.
